Microsoft has re-branded its Office 365 to Microsoft 365, calling it “a subscription service for your life”.
In the past, Microsoft Office versions such as Office 2010 were traditionally known as a collection of applications such as WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, POWER POINT.
When the Office 365 subscription was launched, it was with the same applications, but it allowed users to have access to the latest version of Office at a monthly or yearly cost.
Office 365 also came with a multitude of options that included other items such as Exchange Online (email) and OneDrive (cloud storage).
However, Office 365 subscriptions could also be purchased without the application component! Users had a hard time understanding why they could not use the Office apps, even though they had an Office 365 subscription.
So now the subscription service is referred to as Microsoft 356, and you may select the package with the components you would like.
More-so, the re-branded Microsoft 365 has added new features such as Microsoft Editor and partnered with video app maker ADOBE to provide users with all the tools they may need to run their business.
